Fluorescent opioid receptor, delta 1 Internalization Assay Cell Line

Description Green Fluorescent Delta Opioid Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing DOR Receptor tagged with tGFP. These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual. The Green Fluorescent Delta Opioid Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate DOR Receptor activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the DOR Receptor, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles. This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent Delta Opioid Receptor redistribution by increase of fluorescence surrounding the nuclei using image analysis algorithms. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring DOR Receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.
